This programme is designed to demonstrate effective communication skills and to demonstrate the importance of body language in communications. The learners will understand the blockages to communications. Each learner will understand that communications is a two way process and that without understanding there is no communication. Learners will learn the importance of listening and its effects on the communication process. This programme will help learners indentify areas for improvement in their communication skills. This program leads to a QQI level. 4 Minor award. This Communications course is broken down into 11 specific learning outcomes and at the end of the course learners will be able to, i.e.
Skills demonstrations covering - Listening Skills, Attending an interview, collection of work covering the following, research using the internet, facebook, writing job applications, using email,
Assessment marking as follows: Pass (50 - 64%) Merit (64-79%) Distinction (80-100%)
On successful completion and passing the course each learner will receive a provisional statement of results and in due course their QQI (Quality Qualifications Ireland) certificate
This course can be delivered one day a week over six weeks (can include Saturdays) or alternatively as a evening course two nights a weeks over six weeks
